Boxes overload

We have finally got our 'moving in date'! On the 1st of Aug we move in to our new flat. The perfect flat with wooden floors, a pretty garden, a gorgeous lunch with an open fire and a bed room with floor to ceiling! Who wouldn't want to leave there? It's super exciting!

I will upload a few pictures of the new place as soon as we are in!

Lunch at Hove Place

We spent the afternoon with dear friends at Hove Place, enjoyed a delicious lunch and played in the garden. The sun tried to come out, however the clouds were too stubborn to let the sunshine come through properly butwe did have a rain free evening for ones.

Hard Rock Calling

Friday was Matt's birthday and we ventured up to London to see Soundgarden play at Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park. We started of the afternoon at the Hove Station and headed up to London for an evening full of ROCK! As you might know, rock isn't exactly my kind of music, however this particular Friday full of rock was brilliant! A muddy rocky evening with amazing friends cannot be anything but EXCELLENT! Apart from Soundgarden we saw Black Stone Cherry, Skindred, Iggy and the Stooges, Turbogeist and Kids in Glass houses, and believe it or not, I was even head banging! Not because I was rocking out, but because I wanted to annoy the rocker behind me. It looked good though!

One step closer to 30...

I celebrated my 26th birthday with dinner, cocktails and a very successful E-themed party! I woke up to a decorated living room and my favourite breakfast, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. A perfect start to a perfect day! Lucky as I am I have a quit amazing man who made the whole day brilliant. The day continued with present opening and prosecco lunch, followed by a couple of flat viewings and later on in the evening cocktails and dinner with friends at Moonstone. Moonstone is a small Sri Lankan restaurant just around the corner from us, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect and the the staff are really sweet.

Even if my actual birthday was over on the Tuesday, the celebrations continued on Friday the 6th July with an E-themed fancy dress party at the Freemasons. The party was a success! Everyone made such and effort with their costumes, we had Elvira, El  Fava, Egon from Ghostbusters, Edwards Scissorshands, Edit Piaf, Elizabeth Taylor and many more. Everyone looked amazing!

Euro final 2012

We all gathered at the Pengilly Merino residence in Southwick to see Spain beat Italia in the Euro cup final on Sunday. We started the afternoon with a bbq in the garden, loads of food and all the bbq essentials you can think of! A perfect Sunday afternoon, and since Spain did beat Italia with 4-0 the evening had a brilliant ending too!

After the busiest week in a long time, Friday finally arrived! A new dress was bought, matching shoes and the perfect bag with gold details was found last minute, and voilá! Ready for Sarah's and Andrew's wedding reception at Upwaltham Barns in Chichester. A brilliant evening full of romance, dancing, cake cutting, photo booth shots and laughter. The barn was beautiful! A romantic oasis in the middle of the West Sussex countryside.
