Girls' day in London

We started of our day in London at Winter Wonderland in Hyde park, looked in all the stols, got ideas for christmas decorations, tried different food and were amazed by all the rides. Even if it was 15 degrees and sunny I got a bit of a christmas feeling when we were walking around in there. Headed towards Convent Gardens and had lunch at Wahaca, Mexican tapas and Spanish wine is always a good combination. We were chatting away as we always do and completely forgot about time! All of a sudden it was over 4pm and we had to run towards Leicester Square and the Prince of Albert theatre. Even if I have seen the Mamma Mia musical several times before it was amazing and I think both Valle and me loved every minute of it! Headed back to Brighton where Costa and Dave prepared dinner and Moijitos for us! A perfect ending to a lovely day!

4 days week, oh yes!

The work week is finally over! It feels like I've worked 10 days not 4...Luckily I can forget everything about emails, spreadsheets, applications, meetings and conference calls until Monday. Got yet another fun filled weekend infront of me, starting with a girls' day in London tomorrow! Me and Valle are heading to Winter Wonderland, doing some shopping, having some nice lunch and last but not least we're seeing Mamma Mia! Can't think of a better day to spend my Friday. If we're lucky, Costa and Dave will have dinner ready when we get back:).

Rachel's 30th

We all gathered at the Crown and Anchor in Shorham on the 12th November to celebrate that our lovely Rachel turned 30! 200 balloons, cake, cocktails and perfect hosts. We had a great time and caught up with friends that we haven’t seen for ages.

Nybakta kanelbullar och mjölk!

For some reason I felt like baking when I got home today, this happens very rarely, so rarely that I cannot remember the last time I baked, anyhow, I decided to make cinnamon buns. They're well tasty! Especially with a glass of cold milk. Costa is in for a treat when he gets back!

A nightmare in Rottingdean

Steph and Yvette hosted a great party on Saturday night! The whole house, literally the whole house, was decorated, lovely food, good entertainment, dancing, fireworks, drinks and bonfire. We couldn't have asked for much more to be honest. As you can see below Lady of hearts, Zorro, Spiderqueen, the Joker and many more were invited. We were swinging our ABBA hips in Rottingdean 'til about 6am when we headed back home.

Friday I'm in love!

Finished early, met up with Emma for lunch and ABBA-outfit-shopping. We found loads of hilarious dresses but ended up with white mini dresses and blue extremely tacky accessoriese. I think our foursome is gonna look good, we're gonna take Rottingdean with a storm, swinging our hips to Waterloo!

Had Johanna and Geoff over for dinner in the evening, enjoyed pasta a la Elin, introduced them to the hat-game (unfortunately me and Johanna lost...), had fun with Costa's wig and consumed a lot of sparkling.
As you can see we were loving the wig...

Time to start preparing for a Nightmare in Rottingdean.

Contagion

I love going to the cinema, there is something special about getting comfortable in on the red plush chairs, sharing a popcorn and a coca cola with someone, turning the volume of the phone, watch the adverts and thinking - I really want to see that movie! Excitement mixed with high expectations. Unfortunately I usually have to high expectations when I go to cinema and end up getting disappointed, however I love the feeling you have when you are in the cinema. No matter what film I see it feels like a treat, something special, I feel a bit like a kid again. Sometimes I get the giggles too, like a little school girl, you know how it is, when you have to be quite you just can't. Anyhow, we went to see Contagion today, it is about a rapid progress of a airborne virus that kills within days. It's jumps between the worldwide medical community races' to find a cure and control the panic and ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart. I saw the trailer a while back and was hoping for something extraordinary but it was only yet another film about the world falling apart.
