I love going to the cinema, there is something special about getting comfortable in on the red plush chairs, sharing a popcorn and a coca cola with someone, turning the volume of the phone, watch the adverts and thinking - I really want to see that movie! Excitement mixed with high expectations. Unfortunately I usually have to high expectations when I go to cinema and end up getting disappointed, however I love the feeling you have when you are in the cinema. No matter what film I see it feels like a treat, something special, I feel a bit like a kid again. Sometimes I get the giggles too, like a little school girl, you know how it is, when you have to be quite you just can't. Anyhow, we went to see Contagion today, it is about a
rapid progress of a airborne virus that kills within days. It's jumps between the worldwide medical community races' to find a cure and control the panic and ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart. I saw the trailer a while back and was hoping for something extraordinary but it was only yet another film about the world falling apart.
